Straightforward help for creating keepsakes, managing permissions, using ink, and keeping your local work safe.

Ovina 1.0 iPhone and iOS Updated September 21, 2026
Before you contact support Ovina stores most work only on your device. Do not uninstall the app or delete your local account while troubleshooting unless you are prepared to lose locally stored keepsakes, ink balance, and history.

1. Quick start

1. Pick a template

Open Gallery and choose a memorial card, travel stub, or festival badge.

2. Add a photo

Import from Photos or use the camera, then drag, zoom, and rotate it into place.

3. Add your words

Type a title, subtitle, or memo. You can also scan text or use voice dictation.

4. Press the keepsake

Review the ink cost, create the result, then save it to Album or export it.

2. Camera, Photos, microphone, and speech

Ovina says a permission is needed
  1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Scroll to Ovina.
  3. Enable the permission for the feature you want to use.
  4. Return to Ovina and try again.
Why does Ovina need access?

Photos and Camera provide source images and let you save results. Microphone and Speech Recognition turn live dictation into keepsake text. Ovina asks only when you use the related feature.

Can I keep using Ovina after denying access?

Yes. Only the feature that needs the denied permission is limited. You can still use other available features and can change permission choices later in iOS Settings.

3. AI generation and text scanning

Generation is taking too long or failed
  1. Confirm that your internet connection is stable.
  2. Keep Ovina open while the image is being prepared.
  3. Try a smaller, clear source photo and shorter text.
  4. Wait a moment and retry. AI providers can be temporarily unavailable.

If no result is produced, Ovina does not spend ink. When remote AI is not configured or available, Ovina may produce the locally composed keepsake instead; that successful result uses the displayed ink cost.

The generated image or words look wrong

AI output can vary. Return to the Workbench, adjust the crop and text, and generate again. Each successful new generation uses the displayed ink cost, so review your balance first.

Text scanning found nothing

Use a sharp, well-lit image with readable text and minimal perspective distortion. Ovina tries remote recognition first and can fall back to on-device recognition. You can always enter or correct the text manually.

What is sent to the AI service?

For generation, Ovina sends a resized composed image, template details, and the title, subtitle, and memo you provided. For remote text scanning, it sends a resized image. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Purchases and ink

I bought ink but the balance did not update
  1. Wait for the App Store purchase sheet to show a successful result.
  2. Return to the Gallery or store and allow a moment for a pending transaction to finish.
  3. Confirm that the charge appears in your Apple purchase history.
  4. Restart Ovina. It checks unfinished StoreKit transactions when the main app opens.

If the Apple purchase succeeded and ink is still missing, contact support with the product name, approximate purchase time, app version, and Apple order reference. Never send a full payment card number.

Where is Restore Purchases?

Ink packs are consumable products, so they generally cannot be restored like permanent unlocks. Ovina automatically handles unfinished transactions, but it does not provide a restore button for already consumed or delivered ink.

How do I request a refund?

Apple processes Ovina purchases and refund decisions. Use Apple's purchase history or Apple Support to request a refund. Ovina does not receive your full payment card details and cannot issue an App Store refund directly.

Will my ink move to another device?

Ovina's balance and ledger are local and are not synchronized through an Ovina account. They may not move to another device and may be lost after uninstalling, clearing app data, or using Shred Account.

5. Saving, Album, and sharing

Where are my keepsakes stored?

Saved keepsake images and records live in Ovina's local app storage. Album shows saved work, and Wallet shows the keepsakes you marked as favorites.

I cannot save to Photos

Open iPhone Settings > Ovina > Photos and allow photo access, then export again. Also confirm that the device has available storage.

Deleting one keepsake

Open it from Album or Wallet, choose Delete, and confirm. This removes the local keepsake file and its favorite marker. Copies previously exported to Photos or another app are not deleted.

6. Sign-in, profile, and local data

I do not have a password

That is expected. Ovina uses a local Start flow and does not require a server username or password. Your profile and work are associated with the local app data on this device.

What does Sign Out remove?

Sign Out clears only the local signed-in state. It keeps your saved keepsakes, favorites, profile, settings, ink, and ledger for your next local session.

How do I delete my local account?
  1. Open the Bench tab.
  2. Choose Shred Account.
  3. Type SHRED.
  4. Confirm the irreversible deletion.

This clears local profile fields, keepsakes, favorites, settings, ink balance, and the ledger. Anti-duplication flags for the introductory grant and StoreKit delivery may remain. Exported copies and information held by third-party providers are not deleted by this action.

7. General troubleshooting

  1. Confirm you are using the latest available Ovina version and a supported iOS release.
  2. Check the internet connection for AI, purchase, and speech features.
  3. Check available device storage.
  4. Close and reopen Ovina.
  5. Restart the iPhone if a system permission or StoreKit sheet is stuck.

Avoid uninstalling while you have local keepsakes or ink you need. Ovina does not operate a server account that can remotely recover that local data.

8. Contact support

Email torrenik04091999@outlook.com or use the App Support contact method shown on Ovina's App Store product page. To help diagnose the issue, include:

  • the Ovina app version and iOS version;
  • your iPhone model;
  • the feature and steps that led to the problem;
  • the exact error message, if any; and
  • for purchase issues, the product name, approximate time, and Apple order reference.

Do not send passwords, full payment card numbers, or sensitive personal photos unless support specifically confirms they are necessary. Billing and refund requests must be handled by Apple Support.
